Art & Craft
Baptist Convent Sr. Sec. School initiates all its students in a number of creativity and other activities of art and craft. In the art and craft department, we ensure that all our school students must learn to work as a team and to work with skill and deftness. The art and craft activities include Pottery, Clay Modelling, Paper Mache, chimes, cards, bags, decorative candles, table lamps, Mask Making, Drawing, making crafts with waste materials, Rangoli, Wall decoration, Book binding, Paper toys etc. We also provide students with special classes that train them to recycle the products into handicraft items like students learn to convert trash to treasure. With the help of used paper-cups, ice-cream sticks, bottles and old newspaper, exquisite craft and other utility items are made. This art and craft classes given to our students are helpful for students as it allows them to think innovatively and create their creativity of mind into a structure.
Sports
We at the Baptist Convent Sr. Sec. School provide all our students the facility of sports and games and other related physical education. Sports curriculum is an integral and compulsory part of the education process. Sports help to the students to build character and teach the importance of discipline in life. It inculcates a respect for rules and allows the participants to learn the value to self control and therefore we take special care to the sports section in the school. The school has its own field with tracks and a grass surface. The field is big and has facilities for long jump as well as throw - ball arena. We have basketball court for the students where they are trained by skilled teachers. Volley ball, cricket, football, badminton, etc facilities are also provided to the students. Not only outdoor sports, but we also provide indoor games and special yoga and aerobics classes for students to build their inner confidence
Library
The school owns a spacious, air-conditioned and well equipped library that holds numerous books for reading, reference and gain knowledge. Library is used by the teachers and students to avail some extra knowledge with some well written books that can be used for reference or mere reading. Our school library holds space to accommodate around 50-60 students at one time. Teachers used to encourage the students towards reading and gaining some extra knowledge. Every class is allotted with one library period in which the students are taken to the library by the teachers and there they sharpen their reading skills. Our school library is comprised of good collection of Encyclopaedia, references, literature and language books, science books, and many others. The complete library system runs on card basis. Every students is allotted a card with the help of which he could get any book of his interest issued. Thus, students can gain the opportunity to have a deep knowledge with reference books.
Physics Lab
The School building is also comprised of the physics lab that carries spacious area with good cabinet’s capacity, shelf tops and additional space for almirahs. It is well ventilated and well-lit room with quite good facility of getting fresh air and appropriate light. The room comprises of wide and spacious work slabs, tables with sockets electrical connections. Students could easily avail the water supply and drainage system facility. The lab is quite spacious to give learning experience to at least 25 students in one time. The students could easily avail practical knowledge with the help of some apparatus like electric meters, resistance boxes and coils, battery eliminators, etc. All other types of optical equipments are present in the lab to provide the students to deepen out their theoretical knowledge with the help of practicals. Biology Lab
Bio Lab: Laboratory is the place where students enlarge their hypothetical knowledge with the support of practical knowledge that they gained through experiments. This all helps them to have a sound command on their subject. Bio Lab is a hi-tech labs with proper equipments and models that provide the students a chance to grab all the theoretical things in a proper manner. We are having air-conditioned bio lab which is well equipped with all the needed and updated models of instruments and smart board. At one time, around 25 students can easily get inside the lab. Students can avail the necessary equipments with realm of new series of specimens and charts.
Chemistry Lab
The lab is quite spacious. Separate worktops have been provided to the students so that they can learn the things easily and without any problem. All the apparatus used in the lab are made of good quality. Students have the facility of different apparatus in the lab like physical balance, digital balance, keeps apparatus, burett, boiling tube, tripod stand, test tubes, conical flasks, etc. teachers guide the students in their practical knowledge and make sure that they learn the things deeply and perform all the experiments as per the prescribed syllabus. Chemistry lab is comprised of the required LPG connection that offers the students to undergo their practicals.
Computer Lab
The School is maintaining modern Computer Labs with latest Intel Core 2 Duo Processor computers having multimedia for giving A to Z knowledge and experience to the students of class K.G. to 12th through qualified and trained teachers. The School is providing Computer Aided learning through specially designed packages to make learning more interesting. We have LCD projectors in classes to make Education an interesting, enjoyable and effective process. We have developed internet based computer education system in which the entire syllabus is available to enable students of all classes to study the course while they are at home or complete the backlog if any at their own.
Music Room
The School provides equitable access to music and all the benefits that can be gained through its learning. By promoting traditional music education, our aim is to foster an appreciation for music education, build self – esteem, teach critical social skills and engender creativity and innovation. Music education in the school is well rounded including both Indian Classical and Western music. The genre of music ranges from ‘’ Raags’’ to ‘’ Bhajjans’’, from Indian folks songs to English classical and fusion. By the end of the school life, students can take pride in the treasure trove of music that they have learnt.

Visual Spatial Club
Various activities comprising of Art & Craft and cutting- pasting are a part and parcel of this club. Great architects, artists, designers and photographers are generated from this club. It improves the creative and aesthetic sense of children. It helps to recognize different angles, colors and models. It is a set of cognitive abilities, talents and mental skills.
Intrapersonal Club
It is a platform to enhance and to excel in different activities like Yoga, Seminars & Workshops. It is the ability to understand owns inner feelings, self realization and to know about one’s own skill. The students are trained to become great philosophers.
It intends to improve good concentration power, memory, managing relationships, energy, persistence and to control disruptive impulses and moods.
Logical Intelligence Club
The club trains the students to manipulate number or logic easily. It is a combination of logical connection and concept. The club enhances great scientists, mathematicians and computer analysts. It triggers the neurons of the mind. It activates the ability to think logically and critically. It is the best area to develop an aptitude for numbers, reasoning and problem solving. Above all, it is the club for “QUESTIONING & EXPERIMENTING”
Kinesthetic Club
Students are trained in football, judokarate, badminton, cricket, aerobics and dance classes. Our school is a platform for preparing upcoming players. Students are given a fair chance to flourish and excel in the game of their choice. Students flourish in performing sports & physical activities by using the body flexibly. It improves body rhythm and capacity of doing things. It increases the body metabolism, resulting in supreme heart rate and blood circulation.
Naturalistic Intelligence Club
The club promotes a child to the outer world of nature in the form of flora (plants) and fauna (animals). Different outdoor activities are conducted like visiting a zoo, planting a sapling and watching movies and videos on green earth, global warming and ecology. Rallies are also organized to create awareness on green and clean environment. The club brings forth Eco-friendly students, ecologist and conservationist. It designates the human ability to discriminate among living things as well as sensitivity to other features of the natural world.
Musical Intelligence Club
The club involves all forms of dramatic and instrumental activities. It also includes playing, dancing, singing and involving the students in Nukkad Nataks and Musical ballets. It’s aim is to create renowned Musicians and Singers. Students gain vocal skills, listening skills, composing skills, harmony, melody, creativity, expression, helps to distinguish the sounds around you and develops a good sense of rhythm.
Linguistic Intelligence Club
The club focuses on verbal and written language in the form of reading, writing, telling stories, building vocabulary and finding the right words to express one’s feelings, thoughts and ideas. Good orators are engendered from this club. The school is introducing E-library where online reading and downloading the books can be done.
Interpersonal Club
A Social Skill which facilitates our students to participate enthusiastically in communication with others. This skill develops their active listening and leadership qualities. The students participate in various events, functions, assemblies etc and develop their attitude, thinking and behaviour.
3D Labs
With technology and education going hand in hand, it seems everything is possible. Students are more inclined to learn and grasp knowledge with the interesting mode of teaching. With 3D laboratories in the schools, learning complex lessons has never been this easy. It is easily accessible. The students respond quickly with curiosity. The 3D labs are well scrutinized to ensure comprehensive learning for students.
Smart Board
Smart Board Our institution is well equipped with e-learning smart classrooms to make the teaching learning more interactive and engaged. The various tools of smart board include animations, videos, virtual labs, etc, to make the understanding of the concepts learned more simple and easy. The modules designed get enriching view of each topic using enhanced images and audio description. Even the abstract theory provides intangible experience to students.
